About Us
Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center offers a complete range of pediatric and adult orthopedic services, including treatment for sports injuries; job-related injuries; arthritis; joint replacement; bone fracture; and muscle, tendon and nerve damage. Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center uses the latest technology and state of art equipment to guide patients through subsequent rehabilitation for complete recovery. Our surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and our clinical team of nurses, technologists, trainers and therapists all hold certifications and/or college degrees in their area of responsibility.
Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center has provided Bloomington/Normal and the surrounding central Illinois communities with quality care since 1996. Our practice expanded in 2004 to our current location at The Center for Health, 2200 Fort Jesse Rd. Ste. 250, Normal, IL. On-site x-ray, MRI, physical therapy, and occupational therapy are all available in one convenient location.

Our Orthopedic Surgeons
Lawrence K.C. Li, MD; Joseph Newcomer, MD; Edward Kolb, MD; and David Dodgin, MD are all Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Our physicians are members of the medical staff at the following area hospitals: BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington; and at three surgery centers: Eastland SurgiCenter in Bloomington, Bloomington-Normal Healthcare Surgery Center in Normal, and Ireland Grove Center for Surgery in Bloomington.
